FLIGHT OVER NAZCA LINES
From the sky, we will see some lines & figures of the Pampas of San Jose having 500 Hectares, they have been studied for many years by the Dr. Maria Reiche.
From the Nazca Aerodrome, a small plane will take us towards the mysterious Lines of Nazca where we will appreciate 12 figures: The Whale, trapezoids, the Monkey, the dog, the Condor, the Spider, the Hummingbird, Pelican, the Macaw, the Hands, the Tree & the most mysterious 'The Astronaut'. The flight lasts 30-35 minutes approximately.
Free afternoon for personal activities.

EXCURSION TO THE CHAUCHILLA BURIAL GROUND
This large burial ground has an area of 2 Km. long by 0.5 Km. wide, it is located 27 Km. south east from the city of Nazca. Its antiquity dates back 1,000 years A.C. and belongs to the Regional Empire of Ica - Chincha, which developed between 1000 to 1470 AC; in this time they were conquered by the Inca empire.
Chauchilla is one of the largest cemeteries in the different cultures that archaeologists found in the valleys of Nazca. It is the only one cemetery in Peru that has the mummies in their original graves. This cemetery give us a better knowledge about the rites of the ancient Nazca and their expertise to preserve their dead. In this place, the bodies of the ancient Nazca people were preserved by natural mummification, because the arid climate. Through its habit of burying their people, this culture has left us mummies, ceramics, multicolored fabric, skulls and another artifacts virtually intact.

Arrival in Nazca and transfer to the hotel.
EXCURSION TO THE CHAUCHILLA BURIAL GROUND
This large burial ground has an area of 2 km. long by 0,5 km. wide, it is located 27 km. South-east from the city of Nazca.
