Koricancha (Golden Temple) : Koricancha was the most sacred and respected temple in Cusco during the Inca Empire. Dedicated to worship the sun, the moon & the stars, this extraordinary crafted temple was once home to 4,000 priests and their attendants. Koricancha also served as the main astronomical observatory for the Incas.
